EXPERIENCE: 4 - 12 YEARS
Firmware Design and Architecture, Embedded C/C++,ISDN,NMS,SS7,Dialogic
Basic requirements are:
o 5-8 years of experience in telecom product development and sustaining
o Vertical industry experience in Telecom
o Possesses good leadership qualities, good Interpersonal Skills, team-working attitude, takes initiatives and very proactive in solving problems, providing best solutions and technical guidance to other developers
o Assure all corporate compliance/governance requirements are met (quality, security, change, etc)
• Mandatory Skills
o Very strong C, C++ development skills
o In-depth knowledge of telecom signaling protocols: ISDN, CAS, CCS, SIP, H.323
o In-depth understanding of telecom switching
o In-depth understanding of T1 & E1 standards
o Participated in design, development and sustaining of telecom products
o Strong back ground in design, development,code review, unit testing, configuration management,release management,deployment
o ClearCase and ClearQuest expertise
o Good analytical and debugging skills
• Good to have exposure to as many of the following
o Understanding of telecom hardware product design
o Understanding of SNMP and other management protocols
o Server interface architectures: PCI, PCIe, cPCI
o Device driver development
o Understanding of DSP concepts (basic knowledge of signals & systems), understanding of Motorola (Motorola 563xx) DSP
o Understanding of SDL
o Unix/Solaris based code development, compiling and reviewing
o Experience with working on large scale software stacks
o Basic concepts of developing libraries in Windows/Linux environment (lib/.so)
o Conceptual understanding of embedded firmware development
• Exposure to following skills would give a clear advantage
o Work experience with Dialogic and / or NMS interface boards
o Product development based on the above boards
o Knowledge of FSM modeling using Object GEODE would be desirable
